When signing up we need full name, phone number and which session you would like. You are welcome to bring a lap-top and we will load a simulator onto your computer so you can play along with us just like the real machine. We will even let you take it home with you. We will have it on the overhead as well.
The new Bernina 830 will be in very limited supply until the second quarter of next year and all dealers are allowcated as to how many they will get to sell. If you want one of these machines I encourage you to put a deposit on one. We will be the first dealer in Maine to get any by about 2 months over the other dealers because of our status with Bernina. Lisa and I are also the only dealer from Maine going to Switzerland for the formal training in August.

Stay tuned as we will be extending an invitation to our customers for a “Date With 8″. We will be sending out invitations by way of our blog, e-news and in our store. You will need to bring your lap-top and we will load a simulator on it for you so that you can play along with us with some of the new outstanding features of the new 830E machine. “TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE”

Unlike other machines with dual feeds Bernina goes way beyond our needs in that their “Dual Feed” will adjust in the height for varing thicknes of materials and also it has differential feeding positive and negitive. It also rest high enough that it will allow the use of there regular walking foot when you need that more positive feeding.
The 830E comes with 3 feet that works with the Dual Feed and has several others as otions. The 830E will also work with all of the existing Bernina feet.

Bernina has a host of new product but nothing compares to the new 8 series 830 in the previous post. I just got back from the tech training for it and it is truley the most advance machine I have ever seen with tons of new exclusive features. The quality is unserpassed, but then it is from Sitzerland. The consumer will be blown away with this machine. I expected a great machine when we got here but what we got was far more than than we anticipated.
The price is in line with what you are getting but for the budget minded person there is another version of it coming the first of 2009 at a much lower price.
The embriodery capability of the new 830 is beyond what I expected and will sew as fast as some industrial machines. The hook is larger and has more bobbin thread than many industrial machine, up to 40% to 60% more.
Oh! I got side tracked, I started this post to tell you about the new quilting frame for the new Bernina 830. We will have early in the fall a 10′ quilting frame that will work with any Bernina machine and has a 13″ working space. It glides nice and smooth. I am hoping to have one for the Maine Quilt show next week at the Augusta Civic Center. Couple this with the Bernina Stitch Regulator and away you go. The new 830 will regulate at 1100 stitches per minute and with 12″ of working space what more could you ask for.
The frame in the picture above is only set up at half it’s length.
